Day 619: Our eggs come in many colours. And many sizes...

We don't know what these girls are thinking of lately. In the last two days, one's laid a whopper, two have laid their usual eggs, one hasn't laid at all. And then there's Gabby. As Mr Nora declared when he came walking in from collecting the eggs today... "I don't know what's going on!!!"...

Please excuse the poo and bedding!

Yes, Gabrielle - the green egg layer - has popped out a mini egg. How cute! It's the size of a quail's egg. We don't know what's going on - perhaps eating too many treats? Or has next door's cat spooked her? Don't think so, cos she was teasing him tonight. She was pecking out of flower pots and he was sitting RIGHT next to her. As she moved on to the next pot, he'd have a look in the one she just left. He didn't touch her. I think he's a little bit in lurve... hehe.

(hopefully, NOT famous last words!)
